Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Courtsy, including its court schedules, reservation tools, community-account features, and support services. By using Courtsy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Who May Use Courtsy

You must use Courtsy lawfully and provide accurate information when creating an account, making a reservation, or contacting support. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping access to your email account secure.

Court schedules and reservations may be offered by a community, property manager, club, or other organization. That organization may have separate eligibility, conduct, guest, cancellation, or court-use rules. You must follow those rules as well as these Terms. A community’s rules do not make Courtsy responsible for that community’s facilities, access decisions, or services.

Reservations

Courtsy provides tools to display availability and manage reservations. A reservation is subject to the applicable community’s rules and may be cancelled when those rules or these Terms permit it. You must not make reservations for someone else without authorization, interfere with other users’ access to the schedule, or use automated means to create, alter, or obtain reservations without our written permission.

Courtsy does not charge a fee for an individual court reservation.

Community Accounts and Paid Subscriptions

Some community-account features require a paid subscription. The account owner is responsible for selecting a plan, providing complete and current billing information, and paying all applicable charges, including taxes where required.

New paid-community accounts may begin with a trial. No payment is collected for the trial itself. Unless the account owner starts a paid subscription before the trial ends, paid features will not continue after the trial.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and automatically renew each month unless the account owner cancels before the next renewal date. By starting a paid subscription, the account owner authorizes Courtsy and its payment provider to charge the selected payment method for the recurring monthly price and applicable taxes until cancellation. The billing page shows the current plan, billing period, and available cancellation option.

The account owner may cancel from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and the account remains available through that date. Fees already paid for the current billing period are not automatically refunded for unused time. The Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how to request help with a billing problem or refund.

We may change subscription prices or plan features for a future billing period. We will provide notice before a price change takes effect when required by law. Continuing the subscription after the change takes effect means the account owner accepts the updated price or plan.

Acceptable Use

You may not misuse Courtsy. For example, you may not:

• Violate applicable law or another person’s rights.
• Provide false, misleading, or unauthorized information.
• Attempt to bypass reservation limits, authentication, billing, security controls, or access restrictions.
• Probe, scan, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to the service or related systems.
• Upload or transmit malware, spam, or other harmful material.
• Use Courtsy to harass, threaten, discriminate against, or harm another person.

We may suspend or terminate access when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, when necessary to protect the service or other people, or when required by law.

Ownership and Feedback

Courtsy and its content, software, branding, and other materials are owned by Courtsy or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these Terms.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information. By using Courtsy, you acknowledge the practices described in that policy.

Service Availability and Disclaimers

We work to keep Courtsy available, secure, and accurate, but the service may be unavailable, delayed, changed, or contain errors. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Courtsy is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not guarantee that a schedule is always accurate, that a reservation will be available, or that access to a court or facility will be provided.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Courtsy and its affiliates, providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to Courtsy.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Courtsy’s total liability for all claims arising from or related to the service will not exceed the amount paid to Courtsy for the applicable paid subscription during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where the law does not permit it to apply.

Changes to Courtsy or These Terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Courtsy. We may also update these Terms as the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above shows when these Terms were last revised. When a material change requires notice, we will provide it through the service, by email, or another reasonable method. Continued use after the revised Terms take effect means you accept them.
